The story was surprisingly good, but I thought the original standard edition cover was a little misleading and cartoonish for some of the more serious themes touched on. The OwlCrate edition was right on point: it was wonderfully designed and hinted at the mystery and unknowability of the forest and gave the reader to judge the contents of the book themselves. Quality was standard Owlcrate quality - loved the add-on bonus content. And loved that all my books arrived in perfect condition, shrink-wrapped and pristine. Very happy. Thanks!

I love a book sprayed edges. I think it makes any book look more sophisticated whether it's hardback or paperback. Plus you get an added bonus of the letter from the author and also the autograph well done.

This is such a good book. It took me by surprise. I haven't read such an interesting story in a while.
