    Beautiful Book and Amazing Goodies!

    Owlcrate does it again ! The May 2024 YA box “Traverse the Realms” comes with the gorgeous edition of Song of the Six Realms by Judy I. Lin that features a gorgeous redesigned cover, rose gold gilded edges and a beautiful reversible dust jacket. This book also has an author letter and bonus content! Now for the bookish goodies, there’s a beautiful ceramic trivet inspired by Daughter of the Moon Goddess that features a beautiful scene to include cherry blossoms, a pagoda and a moon at its center and beautiful pastels, an adorable desktop mirror inspired by the Buried and the Bound that contains quotes and etched art on each side and has a nice cottagecore vibe, a pen with artwork themed from A Darker Shade of Magic, a metal luggage tag that comes with a clasping ring that is themed from LOTR and is a beautiful shade of green with a secure wire ring so it won’t fall off your bag, and lastly, for the Perfect Pairings pin this month is number 5 of 12 and features characters from Percy Jackson and the Olympians with beautiful ornate waves and the characters reaching for each other in a scene from the book.

    Twas Cute

    The book is gorgeous. I love all aspects of the cover and dust jacket.

    The collector’s pin is beautiful, but wobbly in a way that makes me think it could break. Not sure if it’s intended or not.

    The trivet is my favorite feature—beautifully designed and colorful.

    The mirror is cute. I love how it’s engraved.

    Only “gripe” if you will, is that the pen is very basic and cheaply made, especially compared to everything else. It’s made of light, cheap transparent plastic, I can see the spring in the tip, and the push top is wiggly like it could fall out if fidgeted with. Extremely 1st world “grump”. I use a lot of pens so it was one of the things I was excited about. In hindsight, the pen was in the preview image, I just didn’t see it, so that’s also on me.
