Put the kettle on! It’s tea time! It was mentioned in a previous post that we put a lot of thought into which order items should be opened in. Now you have something to put in the cute little tumbler you opened yesterday! We hope you enjoy this flavour and stay cozy for the holidays!
We have been working with Riddles Tea Shoppe (@riddlesteashoppe) for years and have never been disappointed with a flavour. They are always so tasty and aromatic, and our Into Gold tea is no exception (if we do say so ourselves!).
“I'm not going to lie. The"Into Gold" name came before the flavour. I wanted to revisit the classic tale of Rumpelstiltskin but also knew Naomi Novik’s Spinning Silver is a beloved modern version, and once I decided on the name, there was no turning back.
I also knew I wanted something bright - a tea that would look golden when brewed. Ginger Peach was the first tea that came to mind so I went to the Riddles Tea Shoppe website for inspiration while also researching the ingredients in some of my favourite teas. Ginger is warming and peach is like a little ray of sunshine in the dark months.
Working with the Riddles Tea Shoppe team was such a great experience and there was collaboration all the way through. Not only with the tea blend/flavour, but with the cute tin style and the beautiful label.
