The Stars Are Dying is a seductive, star-crossed, dark romantic fantasy loosely inspired by the Greek myths of Astraea.
Astraea lives a life of uncertainty. Her memories have been fragmented and her trust broken over and over again, leaving her with nowhere left to turn. To escape the tyrannical king who holds her captive, she makes a bargain with Nyte, a dangerous, beautiful vampire whom she's inexplicably drawn to.
Her quest leads her to the Libertatem, a succession of trials hosted by the king in which five humans compete for a cycle of safety from the vampires. All the while, Nyte haunts her every step of the way. He promises to keep her safe, but she knows she cannot trust him, even as she finds herself drawn deeper and deeper into his seductive embrace.
