Our December book is a gripping paranormal thriller set in a forest full of secrets, betrayal, and monsters. After thinking she was being stolen in the middle of the night, our protagonist is driven deep into the woods where she meets a small group of other “troubled teens.” But being forced to survive a fifty-day hike in the wilderness isn’t the worst thing that can happen to her. That is, until she meets a lavender-haired bully who easily gets under her skin. It’s not until the campers wake up to find their counselors missing that they realize they’ll have to trust each other if they want to make it out of the woods alive.⁠

Our November book is a sweeping romantic fantasy where one girl seeks revenge against those who betrayed her, including the boy she loved. Framed for a crime she didn't commit, our protagonist works with a fellow prisoner to bring down those who brought them pain with dark magic unlike anything else. In a game of cat and mouse, she is faced with the harsh truth - that her revenge may come at the cost of her humanity.⁠

Our October book is a captivating dark academia full of ancient secrets, betrayal, and an addictive enemies-to-lovers dynamic set in a secret society where vampires and humans coexist. Our protagonist seeks to infiltrate this elite school where she suspects a vampire may be responsible for her sister's disappearance and her parents’ death. She soon discovers that not only is she the sole heir to her family's seat of power, but she is also forced to live with the very same vampire. They must compete against each other for control over the inheritance while she tries to find and avenge her sister.⁠

Our September YA book is a devastatingly beautiful tale about queer love, acceptance, and grief. The first of our protagonists has been cursed, doomed to 500 years of service to the monstrous Ferryman of the Underworld, where he spends his days processing souls and wallowing in guilt and anger. In Portland, our other protagonist is the survivor of a traumatic accident, leaving him bereft with grief as he mourns the loss of his mother. When a mysterious mark appears on his hand, he finds himself drawn into a strange world — where he meets another whose grief seems to complement his own. But the two have been drawn to each other for a reason, and soon it becomes all too clear that their bond will lead them towards a devastating truth.

Our August YA book is a story full of dangerous secrets and mysteries. After losing her parents in a mysterious attack, the protagonist is determined to solve the case, despite grappling with intense survivor’s guilt. She moves overseas to live with an estranged relative at their ancestral home, where she uncovers family secrets and suspects a connection to her parents’ deaths. With mounting mysteries and suspicions, she realizes the attacker may be closer than she ever imagined.

JUNE 2024

Our June book takes place in a Qing Dynasty-inspired world and follows our young protagonist who had just witnessed her father's assassination. Disguised as her bother, she must infiltrate an all-male apprenticeship trial in order to find the suspect. Armed with nothing but her father's journal and a mysterious pendant, she faces danger at every corner. To complicate matters, she becomes entangled with a handsome and ambitious prince. Will she pass her trials and more importantly, who will she become at the end of this?
