Our December book is a gripping paranormal thriller set in a forest full of secrets, betrayal, and monsters. After thinking she was being stolen in the middle of the night, our protagonist is driven deep into the woods where she meets a small group of other “troubled teens.” But being forced to survive a fifty-day hike in the wilderness isn’t the worst thing that can happen to her. That is, until she meets a lavender-haired bully who easily gets under her skin. It’s not until the campers wake up to find their counselors missing that they realize they’ll have to trust each other if they want to make it out of the woods alive.⁠
